Books & Puzzles for Anganwadi Children
Our first community drive of the year — a morning of stories, picture puzzles and shared joy with children at a local Anganwadi school in Sevasi.

On a bright April morning, the Tej Dhara team set up at an Anganwadi (early-childhood) centre on Gotri Road and met a room full of curious little learners. Volunteers handed over a fresh stack of picture books, story collections and 100-piece puzzles — chosen so every age group in the room had something to open.
The teachers told us the centre had been short on age-appropriate reading material for months. Watching the kids settle straight onto the striped floor mat and dive into the puzzles was the answer to whether the drive had landed. It had.
This is the model we want to repeat: small, well-targeted drops at Anganwadis and primary schools across Vadodara's peri-urban belt — books, learning kits, hygiene supplies — built up village by village.
